Musical Theatre Ensemble

The Musical Theatre Ensemble program runs from September 3, 2019 - December 22, 2019 on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:30pm. $360 program fee.

Our Musical Theatre Ensemble (MTE) classes will focus on each of the three main concentrations of musical theater; voice, dance, and acting. Great emphasis will be placed on recognizing the relevance of each discipline as it relates to musical theater and preparing students for auditions and musical theatre performances. Each class period will be devoted to- 1) vocal development, 2) improving acting skills, 3) learning choreography; all to help students develop musical theatre skills. The culmination of this course will result with students gaining a broader understanding of musical theater from their participation in a fun and exciting musical theatre performance experience that will increase their abilities and help them to become well rounded performers.

What's New this Fall?

We're always working to improve our programming to create a better experience for our students, parents, and staff. We've made some changes for this fall that we are really excited about!

New Age Groups! We've announced a brand new Triple Threat Elite group to allow high school students (up to age 18) to participate in advanced musical theatre training!

New Staff! We've expanded our education program staff to include new sound and lighting professionals, a dedicated choreographer, AND a dedicated musical director! New staff positions will allow us to build bigger and better shows and give your child the unique attention they need to learn and grow. Learn more about our new staff below!

New Night! We've moved our class night from Wednesday to Tuesday nights to work with the schedule of our expanded staff and expanded programming at the theatre. Many of our students also participate in other clubs, activities, and programs. Moving to Tuesday night will benefit some, but we also understand it may not work for everyone.

New Shows! We've moved the end of our semester from January to December to accommodate a brand new All Holiday Show! We've never focused on performing holiday music, and this change will allow our students and staff to explore a whole new repertoire of music before performing their year-end show on December 20 & 22.

Fine Print & Policies

Please disclose any schedule conflicts prior to registration. Absences or tardiness could result in exclusion from performances.

Bring Jazz Shoes and wear danceable clothing. Costume requirement for shows: black jazz shoes, black jazz pants, branded shirt that is new each year.

Full rehearsal dress required starting with the first rehearsal. Not wearing proper dress will exclude cast member from rehearsal and will be counted as an absence.
